About Denise F Chen
Denise Chen, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of patients with epilepsy and seizures. Dr. Chen strives to provide individualized, evidence-based care, and to work in partnership with her patients to attain seizure control and a high quality of life.
Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include epilepsy surgery, seizure semiology, EEG monitoring in the critically ill, acute seizures, and intraoperative neuromonitoring.
Dr. Chen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and Doctor of Medicine degree from Vanderbilt University. She completed adult neurology residency, clinical neurophysiology fellowship, and epilepsy fellowship at Emory University. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
