David Roesel, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician with Inpatient Services at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Roesel has been named a Seattle Met magazine Seattle Top Doctor.

Dr. Roesel believes that caring for people is a privilege and a sacred trust. He strives to provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based care to patients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Dr. Roesel earned his M.D. at Stanford and his M.P.H. at UC Berkeley. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the UW and was a member of the clinical faculty at Harborview Medical Center prior to joining Northwest Hospital.

Dr. Roesel's clinical experience includes inpatient care, primary care and emergency services. His research interests include hospital medicine, global health, care of refugees, immigrants and the underserved, travel and tropical medicine.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Roesel enjoys playing piano, backpacking, bicycling, gardening, traveling and spending time with his daughter and partner.
