About Daphne M. Beingessner
Daphne Beingessner, M.D., M.Sc., F.R.C.S.C., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at Harborview and a UW professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Beingessner specializes in treating trauma. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Beingessner earned her M.D. from the University of Western Ontario. Her clinical interests include traumatic injuries to the musculoskeletal system, particularly patients with multiple traumas, periarticular injuries of the lower and upper extremity and complex injuries of the elbow. Her research interests include treatments to improve care for patients with multiple traumas, traumatic injuries of the lower and upper extremity and the effects of injury on the biomechanics extremities, particularly around the elbow.
Personal Interests
Dr. Beingessner's interests outside of medicine include spending time with family and friends, weightlifting and fitness, yoga, playing piano music, and cooking.
