Daniel Ledbetter, M.D. is a pediatric surgeon at Seattle Children's Hospital. Dr. Ledbetter is the surgical director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Surgery Pulmonary Follow-up and is part of the surgical staff of the Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine Clinic.  At UW, he teaches Introduction to Clinical Medicine.

Dr. Ledbetter enjoys working with families to help their children live their lives to the fullest by working with the child’s primary clinic and the multidisciplinary team at Seattle Children’s to optimize the child’s long-term growth and development.

Dr. Ledbetter earned his M.D. from the University of Florida.  He is active in all areas of pediatric general and thoracic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Surgical Section of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified in Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

Personal Interests

Dr. Ledbetter is a retired soccer player who has an interest in all sports, especially college sports. He cycles and rides the Seattle-to-Portland (STP). Dr. Ledbetter loves spending time with his wife and kids.
