Cynthia Kertesz, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician at the Pediatric Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW professor of General Pediatrics.

Dr. Kertesz has been playfully looking for monkeys in kids/children's ears for over 15 years. She emphasizes healthy lifestyles and prevention. She has special interest in internationally and domestically adopted children and their unique needs, and enjoys a practice with children of all backgrounds. 

Dr. Kertesz earned her M.D. at Northwestern University. Her clinical and research interests include healthy eating, exercise and sleep and the unique needs of adopted children, both domestic and international.

Personal Interests

Dr. Kertesz and her husband and have two kids and they keep her pretty busy! She enjoys cooking, exercising outdoors in all sorts of ways, reading and travel.
