About Cooper Benet Kersey

Cooper B. Kersey, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist at Harborview Medical Center where he provides care in the cardiac care unit, cardiology consult service, cardiology clinic, and echocardiography lab. He emphasizes patient-centered cardiovascular care, meeting patients where they are and actively involving them in health decisions.  Dr. Kersey is also an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington whose research focuses on the cardiovascular effects of stimulant use, particularly methamphetamine.
 

Personal Interests

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Kersey enjoys running, traveling, and exploring the trails of the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Plicy, and their dogs, Woody and Barley.
