I would definitely recommend Dr. Hume except that he is far too busy.
I felt really heard and listened to. Dr. Hume listened carefully to my concerns and questions and would check in with me to make sure I understood his answers.
Dr. Hume and [...] were both very thorough; both took time to understand my history and concerns. Dr. Hume provided high-quality explanations and treatment alternatives. He also offered additional resources/contact information should I have additional questions.
Great appointment. I felt listened to and we'll cared for
Dr Hume was very helpful
Dr. Hume was excellent. [...]
Dr. Hume changed my life for the good with his care, listening skills, and the surgery he performed. UW Medicine is an outstanding facility.
Dr. Hume and [...] are great!
I really enjoy the UW Medical Center and Dr. Hume is a wonderful doctor (among many you have there). Don't always love the residents doing the procedures but understand UW is a teaching hospital.
Patronizing disregard for my situation by the physician was a low point
Dr. Hume excellent - thorough, informative, understanding, [...] Am grateful for his knowledge, Information, and thoroughness of exam and discussion.[...]
Couldn't ask for a better treatment everything went smoothly. The staff, Doctors, and Audiologists all treated me with kindness and care that everyone deserves.
Dr. Hume explained everything quite clearly, listened and answered all of my questions~
I was pleased with this Dr. (Hume). The nurse was fine though I needed very little contact with her. As mentioned, waiting 6 months for a 15 minute appointment is ridiculous at best. I did have a follow up question for Dr. Hume, contacted him via the portal, and he quickly answered my inquiry.
Dr. Hume is a great doctor and always makes my visits a good experience and is very sensitive about the pain associated with working with the inner ear. I think UW is a great medical center!
Everyone was great. Dr Hume is clear, thorough and attentive. [...] Thank you,
*Dr. Hume did an ear surgery to try and restore me hearing. He did an excellent job! Zero complications and a great result. I've already recommended him to another.
[...] I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with Dr. Hume. He was thorough in his evaluation of my condition, suggestions for treatment and home care to keep it from recurring. He was nothing short of AMAZING. If I ever have a need for an Otolaryngology physician in the future, I do not need to look any further than Dr. Hume.
