BiographyClaire Works, R.N., M.N., A.R.N.P., is a board certified nurse practitioner at the General Surgery Clinic, Kidney Care & Transplantation Services and Intestinal Care & Transplantation Clinic at UW Medical Center and a UW teaching associate of Transplant and Surgery.
Works believes that transplant patients are entering an exciting new phase of their lives. She works closely with the multidisciplinary team, helping patients through pre- and post-transplant, with a goal of maximizing their quality of life.
Works received her medical education the UW. She has clinical expertise in transplant surgery and care of patients undergoing kidney transplant, living-kidney donation, intestine and liver transplant.
Personal InterestsIn her free time Works enjoys hiking, yoga, dogs and reading.
