Biography

Christopher Johnson, M.D., is a board certified physician with Kidney Care & Transplantation Services at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Nephrology.

Dr. Johnson strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Johnson earned his M.D. at Columbia University. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His clinical and research interests include onco-nephrology, including risk of recurrent and de novo cancer in renal transplantation, monoclonal gammopathies of renal significance, diabetes mellitus after renal transplantation, the clinical course of monoclonal gammopathies after renal transplantation, radiology and acute and chronic kidney disease and novel immunosuppression strategies in renal transplantation.
