Christopher Crowe, MD is a surgeon at Harborview Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital who specializes in hand and nerve surgery. He serves as the Director of Research for the UW Unified Hand Surgery Service. Dr. Crowe's approach to providing surgical care is not simply between a provider and patient, but one of true partnership. He invests time and energy into exploring all treatment options with his patients, and is committed to finding the best solution to any problem, no matter how complex.

Dr. Crowe's clinical expertise includes adult and pediatric hand and wrist surgery, treatment of complex nerve injuries, spasticity surgery in the upper and lower extremities, and reconstruction of upper limb function after cervical spinal cord injury. His research interests parallel his clinical endeavors and focus on outcomes of surgery for nerve injury and upper motor neuron syndrome (e.g. cerebral palsy, stroke, brain injury). He has authored over 70 publications and several textbook chapters. Dr. Crowe is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery, Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington.
