Biography

Christine N. Suydam, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist who practices at Hall Health Center at the University of Washington, Seattle.

Dr. Suydam has a wealth of experience working with patients in a variety of settings across the Seattle-area, including Seattle Children’s Home, Fairfax Behavioral Health in Kirkland, Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, the Virology Clinic at UW Medical Center – Roosevelt, Harborview Medical Center as well as her own private practice.

Dr. Suydam earned her B.S. in psychobiology from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and her M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee. She completed a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at UW. Her clinical interests include HIV psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry and emergency psychiatry. When working with her patients, she believes in using a collaborative approach.

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Dr. Suydam enjoys riding horses and hiking with her dogs.
