Christina Elena Tanner, M.D. is a board certified family physician who provides primary care to persons of all ages.
Dr. Tanner has two law degrees, a B.C.L. and an L.L.B. from McGill University. She completed her medical training at Dalhousie University in 1987. She did post-graduate training in Nova Scotia and at the University of Washington. She is a UW clinical associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Tanner is involved in teaching in the UW Family Medicine Residency Program and in the UW School of Medicine.
Dr. Tanner's clinical interests include medical student education, ethics, risk management, women's health and care management.
Dr. Tanner considers it an honor to be able to care for her patients. She believes that open communication is the foundation for building a trusting relationship.
Dr. Tanner enjoys skiing, sailing, traveling, languages, literature, gardening, photography and trying to keep up with her husband and three daughters.
