About Christina M. Marra
Christina M. Marra, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Neurology Clinic at Harborview and a UW professor of Neurology and adjunct professor of Medicine and Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Marra is an expert in general neurology and infections of the nervous system. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Marra earned her M.D. from Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurological Association. Dr. Marra participates in observational and clinical research on the neurological complications of HIV, which includes a trial aimed at determining whether patients with syphilis benefit from early cerebrospinal fluid examination. Her laboratory focuses on identifying genetic and immunologic factors that increase the risk of central nervous system infection in patients with syphilis.
