Christeine Terry, Ph.D., is a psychologist at the Seattle Arthritis Clinic.
Dr. Terry specializes in helping patients adjust to chronic health conditions. She believes in providing evidence-based therapies to patients with a collaborative and compassionate approach, and values using a person’s strengths, experiences and feedback in treatment.
Dr. Terry earned her Ph.D. at the UW, Her clinical interests include adjustment to chronic health conditions, anxiety, substance misuse, caregiver stress and depression. Her research focuses on stigma about individuals with mental and substance use difficulties. She supervises UW clinical psychology graduate students. She also provides workshops to practitioners interested in learning Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is a board-member of the Washington Association of Contextual Behavioral Science.
In addition to working with her patients, Dr. Terry enjoys running, weight lifting, movies and spending time with friends and family.
