BiographyCheryl Mazurek, L.I.C.S.W., is a social worker at the UW Medicine Neighborhood Woodinville Clinic.
Mazurek works with adults, ages 18 and older, who are experiencing depression, anxiety and adjustment issues related to life stages and various health conditions. She has an extensive background working with the elderly and those with chronic and life-limiting illnesses. She counsels with a collaborative and nonjudgmental manner, appreciating each person is an expert in their own life and history. She understands life's challenges can make choices and emotions confusing and difficult to navigate alone. Therefore, she partners with patients to explore these difficulties from an honest and compassionate place, clarifying choices and perspectives as they move forwards towards achieving their goals.
Mazurek received her medical education at Humboldt State University, Arcata, California.
Personal InterestsMazurek loves spending time with her husband and children, and enjoys reading, day trips, yoga and going out for good food with friends and family.
