Catherine E. McHugh, A.R.N.P. is a certified advanced registered nurse practitioner who sees patients at the UW Neighborhood Factoria Clinic.

McHugh's clinical interests include preventive healthcare, diabetes, hypertension, pediatrics, women's health, contraception management and mental health.

McHugh views herself as a partner to patients as they navigate their health and the healthcare system. She attempts to create a safe space for patients to voice health concerns and address barriers to optimal health. She hopes to communicate complex information in a clear way that gives patients understanding of preventive care, illness and aging. Her favorite moments in clinic are when patients feel empowered toward a healthier life.

Personal Interests

McHugh enjoys good books, cooking, coffee, yoga, skiing, running, biking, hiking and all things outdoors - especially when shared with her friends and family.
