Catherine Kieu, PT, DPT, values being part of a collaborative team in the rehabilitation clinic to better provide care for her patients. Her number one goal is to help improve the patient's function so that her patients can participate in what activities they value the most. She is a strong believer in patient-centered care.
Catherine's clinical experience includes treating patient's with spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, and any other neurological condition that comes through the clinic. She is also part of wheelchair seating clinic helping patients get the equipment they need.
She started her career working with the inpatient physical therapy department and transitioned to working in the outpatient neurologic rehabilitation clinic in 2015.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys baking especially cakes. She also likes being active by participating in activities such as walks around Alki or going to a Zumba class. To help exercise her mind she is also an avid puzzler
