About Cary H. Paine
Cary Paine, M.D., is a board certified physician with Kidney Care & Transplantation Services at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Nephrology.
Patients are people first. Dr. Paine strives to treat all patients as he would wish to be treated, with compassion and respect while providing the best medical care possible.
Dr. Paine earned his M.D. from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold-Humanism Honor Society. His clinical interests include acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease in patients with concurrent end stage liver disease, as well as dialysis for acute liver failure and intraoperative hemodialysis during liver transplantation.

In his free time Dr. Paine enjoys cycling, hiking and jazz.
