About Carmen A. Croicu
Carmen Croicu, M.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist at Harborview, a consulting psychiatrist for the Mental Health Integration Program at the Women’s Clinic and a UW associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Croicu has expertise evaluating and treating psychiatric disorders across the female life cycle, including conditions through pregnancy and post-partum period. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Croicu earned her M.D. at Carol Davila University in Bucharest, Romania. She is board certified in both Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her clinical interests include postpartum depression, somatic symptom and related disorders, maternal mental health, psychosomatic medicine and women’s health.
