Carlye Schulte, M.D., is a physician at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Cardiology and Medicine.

Dr. Schulte enjoys having a patient-centered approach to medicine and strives to keep her patients and their families involved, informed and active in their medical care.

Dr. Schulte earned her earn her M.D. from the University of Texas at Houston. Throughout residency and medical school, she was interested in global health, nutrition, health education, gastroenterology and community health policy. Her clinical and research interests include nutritional effects on chronic disease states, health policy, hospital medicine, liver disease, global health and community health.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Schulte enjoys backpacking, yoga, running, skiing, gardening, cooking, baking and live music.
