Biography

Carl Anthony Blau, M.D., is a board certified hematology oncologist at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and a UW professor of Hematology and Medicine and adjunct professor of Genome Sciences.

Dr. Blau specializes in bone marrow transplantation for blood disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndrome. He strives to treat patients the way he would like his own family to be treated.

Dr. Blau earned his M.D. from Ohio State University. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Hematology. His clinical and research interests include stem cell biology, gene therapy, hemoglobinopathies and bone marrow transplantation.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Blau enjoys playing with his kids and going on family outings.
