BiographyBrea McLaughlin, M.S.N, A.R.N.P., C.C.R.N., is a board certified nurse practitioner at UW Medical Center and a UW teaching associate of Surgery and Cardiac Surgery and an affiliate instructor of Behavioral Nursing and Health Systems.
McLaughlin works with the the mechanical heart team, specializing in ventricular assist devices. She enjoys improving the quality of life for patients of advanced heart failure with the complex, specialized care of mechanical circulatory support devices.
McLaughlin received her medical education at Washington State University. Her clinical interests include advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support.
Personal InterestsIn her spare time, McLaughlin enjoys reading and going on adventures with her family.
