About Basak Coruh
Basak Coruh, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Medical Specialties Center at UW Medicine, service director of the UWMC Intensive Care Unit and a UW assistant professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Coruh cares for patients in the medical and oncology/bone marrow transplant intensive care units, provides inpatient pulmonary consultation, and also sees patients at the Pulmonary Clinic. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcome.
Dr. Çoruh earned her M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. Her academic time is devoted to medical education.
