Ayumi Nakano, PTA is a board-certified physical therapy assistant at the Physical Therapy and Hand Therapy Clinic at Harborview.

Ayumi specializes in the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal conditions, complex orthopedic trauma, and geriatric patients at risk for falls. She has broad interests and experience and has been working at Harborview since 2001.

She is a certified Blood Flow Restriction practitioner and provides individualized strengthening programs for enhancing recovery. Ayumi has extensive training in Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance (TJQMBB) and enjoys providing comprehensive treatment to patients with various balance disorders and fall risk.
