Biography

Dr. Tyring is a Retina Fellow in the UW Medicine department of Ophthalmology. She earned her M.D. and subsequently completed her internship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She was raised in central Indiana and attended Butler University in Indianapolis where she studied chemistry and Spanish. She  then moved to Seattle to complete her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Washington and is thrilled to be staying in the Pacific Northwest for vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at UW.

Dr. Tyring's clinical interests include participating in clinical research projects involving retinal, anterior segment and oculoplastic surgery.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Tyring enjoys running, reading and hiking with her husband and dog.
