Biography

Amy Betz, M.D., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.

As an emergency physician, Dr. Betz’s focus is being present for and attentive to patients during their acute crisis, however big or small.

Dr. Betz earned her bachelor's degree from Princeton and her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Her clinical and research interests include teamwork, communication, patient safety, provider resilience and compassion and resuscitation science.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Betz enjoys spending time with family, hiking, swimming and meditation.
