About Amir Iravani
Dr. Iravani treats a range cancers including prostate cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, and thyroid cancer. He uses Molecular Imaging, Radiopharmaceutical Therapy, and Theranostics to treat cancer.
Theranostics uses a combination of therapeutic and diagnostic radioactive medications to precisely treat cancer. We can understand the characteristics of the disease using molecular imaging which allows us to select the most appropriate treatment at the right time and dose for the patients. We use molecular imaging to monitor the response to treatment and identify the factors medicating the therapeutic success or resistance. Our therapies are highly targeted to the cancer tissues utilizing the biological molecules specific to tumors, thereby sparing the normal tissues from toxicity.
