About Amanda K. Shepherd
Amanda Shepherd, M.D., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shepherd believes that taking care of patients admitted to the hospital involves taking care their medical problem while also ensuring we have been able to understand the cause of their illness to prevent future recurrence.
Dr. Shepherd earned her M.D. at the UW. She is a member of the American College of Physicians her clinical and research interests include quality improvement, residency curriculum development, direct resident education, medical student education and conflict negotiation education.

In her free time Dr. Shephard enjoys cooking, Crossfit, running, boating and camping.
