Allison Fairbanks is a nurse practitioner at the Digestive Disease Center and practices general gastroenterology. She attended the University of Washington for her Bachelor of Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice degrees. She also received a Master of Public Health focused in epidemiology and biostatistics from Oregon Health & Science University. Allison’s interest in gastroenterology stems from her experience as a research nurse where she worked with patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Allison brings her interests in providing high quality care, teaching, and fostering relationships with patients and care teams to her practice.

New therapies for inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis); management strategies for irritable bowel syndrome; nutrition.
