Alexandra Morrison, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Morrison specializes in hospital medicine, palliative care and resident education. She believes passionately in tailoring best practices in medicine to the individual patient. She listens carefully to patients’ concerns so she can partner with them to achieve their best health. Her experience in palliative and end-of-life care enables her to focus on patient goals, symptom management and the transition to peace and comfort when the time is right.

Dr. Morrison earned her M.D. and M.S. at Indiana University in Indianapolis. She is board certified in both Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Internal Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include best practices in hospital medicine; palliative and end-of-life care; patient education; resident education.

Personal Interests

When she's away from the hospital, she divides her time between working with her husband on his best-selling thriller novels, training in aerial acrobatics and playing with their energetic goldendoodle.
