Dr. Skokan always explains the purpose of my current appointment and we discuss what will be needed going forward with my medical condition. I never feel rushed when discussing my medical history. Very comfortable with his comments and suggestions for me.

Upon checking in at the front desk, I was greeted by his assistant on time and was asked the routine informational personal questions. She was very polite and professional as we reviewed my current medications and vital signs. I was immediately met by Dr. Skokan and we discussed my numerous previous health issues and surgeries. Dr. Skokan was very cordial and had extensively reviewed my medical records prior to our meeting. We discussed my current medical condition in depth and he suggested that he would perform a relatively simple procedure (which I have had done numerous times before in past years). I was in total agreement with his decision to have the procedure done and I was hoping he would request it during my appointment! During the procedure we discussed his assessment of my bladder condition, as I was able to view the scope on a monitor next to me. Dr. Skokan and I discussed in detail the results of the procedure and come to a conclusion on future decisions. He is currently awaiting the images from a MRI I had done from a month prior, at which time we will discuss his findings and what to do moving forward.I cannot express my gratitude in meeting Dr. Skokan and understand why he is extremely respected by his peers. I know that I am being cared for by a very personable, caring and professionally intelligent man.
