Dr. Alexander Skokan believes that collaborative, coordinated care is key to excellent patient outcomes. He strives to deliver the best possible care to his patients both in and out of the hospital. He seeks to empower patients through education so that they can understand and make medical decisions to achieve their own goals.
Dr. Skokan's clinical interests include treatment of urethral strictures, complex diseases involving the male external genitalia, erectile dysfunction, male urinary incontinence, urologic trauma, and care of adult patients living with congenital or childhood urologic conditions. He looks forward to caring for the residents of Seattle and the greater Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Skokan is a fellow and acting instructor in Urologic Trauma and Genitourinary Reconstruction at the University of Washington. Dr. Skokan completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles and pursued his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He remained at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for urology residency, where he trained under the guidance of world experts in the fields of adult and pediatric urology.
Dr. Skokan enjoys cooking and exploring foods from other regions, running and following UCLA sports & the San Francisco 49ers.
