Adam Shildmyer, D.P.T., C.O.M.T., F.A.A.O.M.P.T., is a physical therapist with a clinical focus on orthopedics and extensive background treating the spine, hip and knee.
Dr. Shildmyer earned a bachelor's degree in biology and pre-physical therapy from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed his residency and will soon finish a fellowship in orthopedic manual therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute in Bellevue, Washington.
His clinical interests include orthopedics, manual therapy and sports rehabilitation.
He is an avid believer that all exercises should be functional so that people can effectively return to the sport or activity of their choice with a decreased chance of re-injury.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shildmyer loves travelling with his wife, is involved with his church, and enjoys playing, watching and coaching sports, especially basketball.
