Biography

Adam Shildmyer, D.P.T., C.O.M.T., F.A.A.O.M.P.T., is a physical therapist at the UW Medicine Advanced Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic at Ballard.

Dr. Shildmyer has extensive background treating the spine, hip and knee. He is an avid believer that all exercises should be functional so that people can effectively return to the sport or activity of their choice with a decreased chance of re-injury.

Dr. Shildmyer earned his D.P.T. from the UW. His clinical interests include orthopedics, manual therapy and sports rehabilitation.

Personal Interests

Outside of medicine, Dr. Shildmyer loves travelling with his wife, is involved with his church, and enjoys playing, watching and coaching sports, especially basketball.
