Biography

Abhijit Lele, M.D., M.B.B.S., M.S., is a board certified anesthesiologist, medical director of UW Neurocritical Care and a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and an adjunct associate professor of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Lele strives to provide evidence based, safe care to patients, and provide his undivided attention to patients and their families as they navigate through tough waters. He makes an effort in perfecting the process of delivering care, as he believes this will lead to desired outcomes.

Dr. Lele earned his M.D. at BJ Medical College in India and his M.S. at the University of Kansas. He is board certified in both Neurocritical Care and Anesthesiology. He has been honored as Best Teacher by Residents from Anesthesiology and Neurology.

In his free time Dr. Lele enjoys spending time with his wife and children, wildlife photography, traveling and movies.
