About Teal S. Hallstrand
Teal Hallstrand, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at the General Pulmonary Clinic at UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Hallstrand believes that while a physician must possess knowledge, the most important skills are the ability to listen carefully and treat each person as an individual.
Dr. Hallstrand earned his M.D. and M.P.H. at the UW. He is board certified in both Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. His clinical and research interests include the management of asthma, difficult-to-control asthma, exercise-induced asthma and other obstructive lung diseases such as bronchiectasis.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Hallstrand enjoys running, cross-country skiing, backpacking, cycling, woodworking and spending time with his wife.
