Christopher Kent, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Kent provides anesthesia for a wide variety of procedures but has had a special interest in using epidural and nerve block anesthesia to provide post-operative pain relief to his patients. He tries to provide anesthesia and pain relief in a way that makes patients feel listened to and truly cared for during what can be anxious times.

Dr. Kent earned his medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. He is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has a clinical interest in regional anesthesia which includes spinal, epidural and nerve block anesthesia. His research interests include preventing awareness during general anesthesia.
