About Alisa B. Kachikis

Alisa Beth Kachikis, MD, MSc, is an obstetrician gynecologist and fellow in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington. She believes each pregnancy is unique and some pregnancies are more complicated than others. Her goal is to provide information to patients and their families and work with them to optimize their individual treatment plans.

Dr. Kachikis specializes in high-risk pregnancy, preterm birth prevention and cervical cerclage, inflammatory and autoimmune conditions in pregnancy (including inflammatory bowel disease), twins, triplets and multiple gestation, infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss and preeclampsia (high blood pressure during pregnancy). Some of her most common treatments include cervical cerclage, preterm birth prevention, c-sections, transvaginal cervical ultrasounds and prenatal testing.

Dr. Kachikis enjoys traveling, exploring the Pacific Northwest and spending time with her family and friends.
