Our service at the UW Medicine Maternal and Infant Care Clinic will evaluate, monitor and manage your high blood pressure (hypertension) while you are pregnant. We will also work with you to decrease your likelihood of developing preeclampsia (pree-ee-clamp
-see-uh – a high blood pressure pregnancy complication) during pregnancy.

The UW Medicine Maternal and Infant Care Clinic at UW Medical Center specializes in comprehensive prenatal screening and fetal diagnostic testing. Our goal is to help our patients make informed decisions about their pregnancies by giving them information about their chances of having children with health problems as well as genetic testing options.
We are pleased to offer adolescent and teen obstetrical care at the University of Washington, Maternal and Infant Care Clinic. We recognize that there are unique medical, emotional and social concerns facing pregnant teenagers. Our goal is to provide comprehensive care for young women, their partners and families.
