The Regulatory Guidance Office in Business Affairs, Office of the Dean, provides support and assistance to School of Medicine faculty and staff to facilitate their compliance with policies in the following areas:
Conflict of Interest
Research-related financial interests are subject to certain reporting and review requirements.
Outside Work
Faculty are required to obtain prior approval for personal outside work.
Faculty must also comply with specific School of Medicine requirements regarding potential financial conflicts of interest with commercial or non-profit entities.
State Ethics Requirements
All Washington state employees are subject to Washington's Ethics in Public Service Act.
