The Northwest Lipid Clinic provides care for patients with high cholesterol and blood fats, a condition known as hyperlipidemia. The clinic provides advanced management of lipid disorders and related metabolic and endocrine problems, including the evaluation and management of hyperlipidemia, heart disease risk, and related and contributing health problems.
Special Services
- Laboratory testing, diet assessment and education, and physical examinations to diagnose the origin and/or cause of lipid and related abnormalities and to assess heart disease risk factors.
- Individualized risk management through diet and medication.
- Consultation for primary care providers on specific cases.
- Prescriptions for established patients are handled on a daily basis, and the clinic also performs research activities outside regularly scheduled clinic appointment hours.

Appointments and Referrals
Appointments for the Northwest Lipid Clinic may be made by calling the clinic (number listed below) between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Patients on managed care plans should preferably be referred by a primary care provider. Patients may make their own appointments or be referred by their primary care provider.
