Our Priority Funds
Obstetrics and Gynecology Discretionary Fund (OBGYND)
This fund helps the department fund its core mission areas: research, teaching, patient care and other departmental priorities.
Thomas J. Benedetti, M.D., MHA, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellow Research Fund (OBGMFM)
This fund provides annual research awards to fellows-in-training in maternal-fetal medicine. In this way, the fund supports the testing of novel research ideas, and it lays the foundation for fellows’ careers in research.
Ovarian Cancer Fund (OVACAN)
This fund helps researchers investigate ovarian cancer: its causes and potential treatments, as well as methods of early detection (the cancer is often diagnosed in later stages). In addition to critical research, this fund supports ovarian cancer education programs.
