About this Clinic
With a reputation for excellence, innovation and efficiency, VA Puget Sound strives to lead the nation in the care of our veterans. Since 1923, they have distinguished themselves as pioneers in teaching, research and patient care while earning recognition as part of the largest health care network in the country.
Whether you need emergency care, rehabilitation services, mental health counseling, or just a flu shot, expert physicians, nurses and staff will make sure you get the care you deserve. In collaboration with UW Medicine physicians, VA Puget Sound offers a full range of medical services, including primary care, audiology, cancer care, treatment for spinal cord injuries, epilepsy care and women’s health services. In addition, the social work program assists veterans with counseling and community services — and the homeless program helps veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
A Puget Sound has an extensive research and development program, including studies in biomedical research, health services, clinical and cooperative studies and rehabilitation. The current research studies enhance their ability to provide state-of-the-art medical techniques and treatments to veterans.
