About this Clinic

The Sports Medicine Clinic, located across the street from UWMC in the UW's Bank of America Arena, provides care for all active individuals, from recreational to the elite athlete, as we also serve the UW Husky Athletic program.

  • Specialty and surgical care of the shoulder, elbow, hip, back, knee, ankle and foot
  • Arthroscopic and minimally-invasive surgery
  • Exercise training programs and rehabilitation for returning to activity

Driving Directions

The Sports Medicine Clinic is at 3950 Montlake Blvd. N.E.,  just north of Husky Stadium on the University of Washington campus. It is connected to Hec Edmundson Pavilion, on the north side. View Google map or download area map in pdf format to view building entrances.  
 
Directions from Interstate 5:
  • Take exit #168B (Bellevue/Kirkland) to State Route 520. 
  • Take first exit off SR520 to Montlake Boulevard N.E. 
  • Turn Left (north) onto Montlake Blvd.
  • Cross the drawbridge.
  • Continue north on Montlake Blvd.
  • Refer to parking options below.
 
Directions from State Route 520 Westbound:
  • Take the Montlake Boulevard N.E. exit. 
  • Turn right (north) onto Montlake Blvd.
  • Cross the drawbridge.
  • Continue north on Montlake Blvd.

Parking Options:
Metered Parking by Graves Hall:

  • Cost = $3/hour cash, credit or debit.
  • When heading north on Montlake Blvd, drive past Husky Stadium and Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
  • Drive under pedestrian walkway.
  • Make immediate right (east) into Graves Hall parking lot.
  • Walk along the south side of Graves Hall. The Sports Medicine Clinic across from the outdoor tennis courts.  

Parking Lot E-1:

  • Cost =$6/day *CASH ONLY. EXACT CHANGE IS REQUIRED.
  • When heading north on Montlake Blvd, drive past Husky Stadium and Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
  • Make a right onto Wahkiakum Road.
  • Lot E-1 is located on your left.
  • Walk south on Walla Walla Road, along the Intramural Sports Fields and past the tennis courts. Turn right at the stop sign. The Sports Medicine Clinic is located on your left.  

Metered Parking behind the Intramural Activities Building/across from E8:

  • Cost =$3/hour cash, credit or debit.
  • When heading north on Montlake Blvd, drive past Husky Stadium and Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
  • Make a right onto Wahkiakum Road. Continue veering right onto Walla Walla Road. Chaffey Field will be on your left and the Intramural Sports Fields will be on your right.
  • Metered parking is available directly behind the Intramural Activities Building, just beyond the sports fields.
  • After parking, continue south on Walla Walla. Turn right at the stop sign. The Sports Medicine Clinic is located on your left across from the tennis courts.

Disabled Parking:

  • State disabled permit required. Limited spaces available.
  • Cost =$3/hour cash, credit or debit.
  • Drive north on Montlake Blvd, drive past Husky Stadium, , Hec Edmundson Pavilion Arena and the Intramural Activities Building.
  • Turn right on Wahkiakum Road.
  • Veer right onto Walla Walla Road; Chaffey Field will be on the left, Intramural Sports Fields will be on the right.
  • Turn right at the stop sign.
  • The Sports Medicine Clinic is on the left, across from the tennis courts.

Please note: The Sports Medicine Clinic is located at the top of a short, slightly uphill road.
