Medication Refills & Test Results

Medication Refills

All prescription refills should be called into your pharmacy one (1) week before your current supply will run out. If you still have refills, your pharmacy will fill the medication. If you are out of refills, your pharmacy will contact our clinic to ask for a refill. Calls from your pharmacy will go to the UW Medicine Refill Authorization Center (RAC), where UW Medicine pharmacists will look at your chart to make sure that the medication is still safe for you to take and that you are seeing your provider as requested.

Test results

The best way to receive your test results is through UW Medicine eCare. Test results are available in eCare within 5 days (unless you are instructed otherwise). If you are not a registered eCare user, you will receive a letter in the mail within 2-3 weeks of the test (unless you are instructed otherwise).
