The Stroke Clinic at Harborview cares for patients with cerebrovascular disease who have suffered a stroke or transient ischemic attack, also called a TIA, and those who are at risk for stroke or TIA. Primary and secondary stroke prevention is a key component of services offered at the clinic.Clinic Goals

Individual care plans for each patient are based on an initial evaluation that may include a complete medical history and physical examination, stroke-risk and lifestyle education, and ancillary tests.
