About the Ceremony
The Clinical Transition Ceremony is a celebration at the end of the Foundations Phase, before medical students embark on their clinical practice of medical school. The ceremony marks the transition from the classroom to the clinical rotations on the wards. Students are given a white coat with their name embroidered on it from their College Mentor, which can be worn on their clinical rotations in third and fourth year.
