The WWAMI State Track program allows a select group of students to complete most of their required clerkships scheduled in one specific site/state throughout the WWAMI region. Medical students must participate in an application process, whereby selected students are matched to State Track sites to fulfill their third or fourth year required clerkships.

Third year tracks are offered in Idaho, Spokane, Missoula, Billings and Alaska and Wyoming has a similar experience for students who apply for that track.

Students must complete 5 out of the 6 third-year required clerkships at one state track location (except the Wyoming track where 4 of the 6 requirements need to be met.).

Fourth year tracks are offered in Alaska, Spokane and Idaho. Students must complete three of the four requirements at the track site.
