About William Thomas Edwards
Dr. William Thomas Edwards, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist and a UW professor emeritus of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Edwards believes that all patients have the right to expect and receive the best possible pain management during a time of acute illness or injury. He feels that providing that care and watching the attendant improvement in well-being is a great joy.
Dr. Edwards earned his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts. His clinical and research interests include the effects of early interventions for pain or outcome in trauma patients, new pain management systems and total quality improvement in pain management.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Edwards enjoys music, singing, philosophy and Benedictine spirituality.
