About Virginia P. Sybert
Virginia Sybert, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Genetic Medicine Clinic and the Center on Human Development and Disability at UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Medicine and Medical Genetics.
Dr. Sybert's clinical expertise is in the inherited disorders of the skin and in Turner syndrome, a chromosomal imbalance condition that affects females. She can think of no greater privilege than to practice medicine, to participate in people's lives and to help educate them to allow them to make the best decisions
Dr. Sybert earned her M.D. at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is board certified in both Clinical Genetics and Pediatrics. She is listed in Best Doctors in America. She is associate editor for Pediatric Dermatology and author of Genetic Skin Disorders, an award winning medical text.
