DeMartini, Wendy B.

Wendy B. DeMartini, M.D.

Dr. DeMartini is an associate professor in the Breast Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington. Her clinical practice is focused on the careful and compassionate detection and diagnosis of breast cancer.

She is involved in research regarding the best combination of imaging tools to identify cancer in younger women with breast lumps. In addition, Dr. DeMartini's practice incorporates medical education through the training of medical students, radiology residents and breast imaging fellows.

Knowing that having breast imaging tests can be stressful for patients, Dr. DeMartini is dedicated to providing patient care that balances compassion with adherence to practice guidelines and scientific evidence. She aims to care for patients as she would want her own family members to be treated.
