Patient Care Philosophy
While research has shown that nurse practitioners provide the same quality of care as physician providers, the philosophy of nurse practitioners is to focus on prevention, wellness and education to help patients achieve total health and prevent illness.

Karen takes the time to listen to her patient's health concerns. She gives personalized care and develops treatment plans that are all encompassing and conducive the their lifestyles, needs and belief systems.  She works as a partner with her patients and strives to make all interactions collaborative.  Karen uses the most advanced, evidence-based concepts in testing and treatment to provide the highest quality of health care.  She has a passion for knowledge and works together with her patients, to meet them at their level and help bring them to a higher level of health and well-being.

Karen's claims her relationships with her patients are the most gratifying and fulfilling part of her work.  She is honored to have cared for hundreds of women in the Seattle area for over 18 years.
